Mark received his degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Oklahoma State University. Having worked for Holiday Inns and Hyatt Corporation in both Texas and Florida, in 1976 he transferred to Winston-Salem as Assistant Manager of the Hyatt Hotel. In 1978 he decided Winston-Salem was a great place to raise a family and started his career in property management; he hasn't looked back since. Mark received his real estate license in 1981 and a Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation in 1982. He specialized in single family residential and began working with homeowner associations in 1987. Mark is well respected for his work in property management and was President of the Winston-Salem, Association of Realtors Property Management Division for two years. As an active member of his church, he is very involved in the music ministry and serves as a deacon. Altruism toward his fellow man is a major part of Mark's life and his outlet is helping the visually and hearing impaired through the work of Lions International. Currently, Mark is President of the Winston-Salem Twin City Host Lions Club, the oldest Lions Club in the state of North Carolina. Mark is married, has two grown sons and one grandson. His limited leisure time is spent singing and playing golf.
